The Master's in Education with a mention in Educational Management and Leadership is a professional programme designed in response to current labour demands within the national education system, including primary, secondary, and tertiary education institutions.

Its research areas include Educational Management and Educational Leadership.
Who is it for
It is intended for those holding a Bachelor’s degree and/or professional qualification in education-related fields, who can also demonstrate at least two years of professional experience in school education.
Entry requirements

Admission Requirements and Selection Process (Online Programme)

Applicants to the online programme must meet specific admission requirements. Interested candidates must complete the Single Application Form for Postgraduate Programmes and submit the required academic and identification documents. The second stage involves a selection process through a personal interview, where candidates are expected to demonstrate their reflective capacity, relevant knowledge, and ability to analyse educational issues, as well as actions undertaken to improve their professional practice.

Admission Requirements:

Academic Documents:

Certified copy of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a Professional Teaching Degree, notarised.

Certificate confirming current employment within the national educational system (Early Childhood, Special, Primary, Secondary, or Adult Education), demonstrating at least two years of professional experience.

Academic transcript from undergraduate studies, showing a final average grade above 5.5 on a 1.0–7.0 scale, notarised.

Additional Documents:
Two letters of recommendation from direct supervisors in the educational field.
Statement of intent addressed to the Programme Committee (approximately 500 words), explaining the applicant's motivations and professional goals upon completing the Master's degree.

Curriculum Vitae (download template from the programme’s official website).

One passport-size photograph with full name and RUT.

Birth certificate.

Certificate of criminal record.

Photocopy of both sides of the national identity card.

Certificate confirming no disqualification from working with minors.

Scholarships

Non-cumulative tuition discounts:

A 10% discount on the total program fee applies to USACH undergraduate alumni and/or graduates.

A 50% discount on the total cost of the programme is available to staff members of USACH.

A 10% discount on the total program fee applies to USACH alumni who obtained the State Teacher qualification through Regularisation Programs.

A 5% discount on the total program fee applies to those who pay 100% of the annual tuition upfront.

A 4% discount on the total program fee applies to those who pay 100% of the semester tuition upfront.

Todas las postulaciones son gestionadas a través de la Vicerrectoría de Postgrado, que recepciona las postulaciones y las deriva a cada Facultad.

¿Qué datos debo proporcionar en mi postulación?

Es importante proporcionar todos los datos y copias escaneadas de la documentación requerida obligatoriamente en el fomulario de postulación online, además de la información específica que requiere cada Programa (ej: certificado de ranking, cartas de recomendación, carta de motivación, etc.)

¿Qué documentos son importantes?

Cada programa tiene requisitos de ingreso. Para hacer la postulación es necesario revisar los requisitos de ingreso del programa y aportar los documentos que son requeridos de forma obligatoria para la postulación.

¿En qué momento debo presentar los documentos originales?

Los documentos originales, o copias debidamente legalizadas deben enviarse una vez aceptada la postulación, para iniciar el trámite de formalización de ingreso de alumno regular.

¿Dónde estamos ubicados?

Nos encontramos en el límite de la Comuna de Santiago y la comuna de Estación Central, a pasos del metro Estación Central y de la estación de ferrocarril y buses interubanos.
