Programme details
The Master’s in Educational Psychology focuses on training professionals who are able to design, implement and evaluate psychosocial interventions or innovations in educational contexts such as schools, universities and other non-traditional educational settings.

Within this framework, students are encouraged to engage with and critically reflect on current debates in Educational Psychology, fostering a critical-reflective stance and an analysis of ethical and political implications through collaborative, practice-based professional learning experiences. In doing so, they develop the ability to explore and critically analyse diverse strategies for psychosocial intervention and innovation in educational contexts, as well as their relationship with national and international public policies.

To this end, the programme includes “Collaboratories of Situated Practice”, a pedagogical innovation whereby students are embedded, from the first semester, in real educational institutions or experiences. Within these settings, they are required to carry out a psychosocial intervention and/or innovation project through all its phases

This collaborative experience involves teamwork among students and between student professionals and field participants, providing a space for the creation and innovation of intervention practices, with guidance and support from the programme’s academic staff.

Its research areas include School Climate and Mental Health; Diversity and Inclusion; and Gender and Intersectionality.
