Programme details
An academic programme that adopts a multi- and interdisciplinary approach, going beyond the traditional legal-diplomatic frameworks that have dominated the field of International Studies in past decades. It examines complex international scenarios not only through the analysis of states’ and governments’ foreign policy, but also through the broader lens of international relations connecting nations and cultures.

Its research areas include Theory and History of International Relations, which examines schools of thought and analytical traditions in International Studies, as well as the historical development of international relations; Regional Studies and Non-State Actors, focusing on world regions and the role of non-state actors in international dynamics; and World Politics, International Security and Political Geography, which analyse trends, conflicts and post–Cold War realities, including geopolitics, security and power relations.
Who is it for
It is intended for individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree and/or a professional qualification with a level and content equivalent to at least eight semesters, in a field related to the Programme.
Entry requirements

Curriculum Vitae, birth certificate, original degree certificate or professional qualification (or a notarised photocopy). The undergraduate programme must have a minimum duration of eight semesters. An original or notarised copy of the undergraduate academic transcript must also be submitted, indicating the semesters or years completed. In cases involving credit transfer, the original or notarised transcript of the validated courses must be provided.

For international applicants, the following must also be included:

A photocopy of the passport and/or a notarised copy of the national identity card, if available.

The academic transcript must include a certified equivalency to the 1 to 7 grading scale used in Chile, issued by the home university. If the university does not issue a certificate of equivalency, the applicant must submit a statement from the university confirming this. In cases of credit transfer, the original or notarised transcript of the validated courses must also be included.

Degree certificates and academic transcripts must be legalised through diplomatic channels or, where applicable, bear the Hague Apostille.

*The Programme may request additional documentation.
