Programme details
An academically oriented programme designed to equip students with the ability to understand, analyse and research the social processes that shape contemporary civil society. It aims to generate relevant knowledge from a social sciences perspective, contributing to public policy debates and/or interventions, as well as to work within civil society organisations.

Its research areas focus on three main dimensions: Processes, understood as the analysis of historical transformations of civil society and its actors; Organisation, which examines the political, social and institutional structures that interact with civil society; and Actors, which explores the formation and practices of social actors within civil society.
Who is it for
This programme is intended for applicants who hold a Bachelor’s degree or professional title in the fields of Social Sciences or Humanities, or in another discipline related to the Programme's areas of study. In the latter case, the Programme Committee will evaluate the applicant’s academic background
